St. Paul Trading Company is built on a foundation of expertise and vision, driven by the remarkable career of our co-founding partner. With over 20 years of experience, our partner has become a seasoned leader in the global trade of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and paper.
Starting out with a focus on regional trade, they quickly expanded into the international market, developing deep industry knowledge and forming strong relationships across multiple continents. At the height of their career, they were among the top 100 exporters in their home country, shipping an average of 300 containers annually to destinations including China, South Korea, the United States, Brazil, and Europe.
Their expertise lies not only in high-volume exports—handling 1,200 tons of metals, 500 tons of plastics, and 500 tons of paper monthly—but also in identifying and adapting to new opportunities in the recycling and sustainability sectors. Today, they are leveraging this experience to explore innovative materials like stainless steel, used batteries, and lead ingots, with a vision to expand into new markets, such as supplying smelters in Colombia.
